An annual interactive media festival returns to examine how emerging technologies are reshaping storytelling, creative practice and audience engagement.

FilmGate Interactive 12, presented by FilmGate Miami, takes place March 18-22 during Miami Music Week, with events held at locations to be announced across Miami. The multi-day program brings together visual storytellers, technologists and creative industries through a mix of screenings, exhibitions, creative labs, master classes, immersive installations, live performances and music events.

The festival highlights innovative approaches to content creation while foregrounding voices and issues connected to the region with global relevance, including climate change, social justice, immigration, accessibility and equality. As an annual platform, FilmGate Interactive continues its focus on original, experimental work that explores new models for collaboration and future-facing media.
