There is plenty to be thankful for in Greater Miami & Miami Beach. This Thanksgiving, gather your family and friends and take advantage of all Miami has to offer. Here are some of our favorite ways to celebrate Thanksgiving 2022 in Miami.

Special Places for Thanksgiving Dinner in Miami

Miami is known for its fabulous restaurants. Here’s just a sampling of what’s on offer for Thanksgiving. If you’re staying at a resort or upscale hotel, also check to see if you can dine at an on-site restaurant or ask the concierge to help you find a restaurant reservation.

Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina

Celebrate Thanksgiving 2022 at Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina, which is located at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa. Start with appetizers such as sashimi, butternut squash soup and oysters, and move on to the mains: filet mignon, miso-glazed sea bass, herb-roasted chicken, wood-grilled free-range turkey and more. Each entrée will come with truffle mac and cheese, garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach, and you can finish it off with pumpkin pie, apple puff or – another kind of American classic – s’mores.

CORSAIR kitchen & bar

Also at JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, CORSAIR Kitchen & Bar will serve a guilt-free Thanksgiving dinner. Made with local, wholly natural ingredients, dishes will include a kale fall salad, short rib ravioli, roasted turkey breast stuffed with roasted acorn squash, pan-seared snapper and pan roasted filet mignon. And because every holiday should end on a sweet note, don’t skimp on dessert. There will be pumpkin, pecan and apple pie.

Il Mulino

Get a taste of “la dolce vita” with an Italian twist on everyone’s favorite fall feast. Reserve a table at Il Mulino New York, at Acqualina Resort and Residences on the Beach, and enjoy a prix-fixe dinner of pumpkin gnocchi, organic roasted turkey, fresh cranberry sauce, walnut and sausage stuffing, sautéed green beans, mashed potatoes and pumpkin cheesecake.

Sal Grill Isabelle a & Jaden

Give thanks with a glass of bubbly, live music and a night of luxury at Isabelle’s Grill Room and Garden. Find it at The Ritz-Carlton, Coconut Grove, Miami, with dishes such as apple and butternut squash soup, endive salad and its signature brined, roasted turkey with dijon roasted baby vegetables and a chestnut, leek and apple stuffing. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, scratch the bird and order the roasted acorn squash with a pecan rice pilaf, roasted baby vegetables, cranberry confit and vegetable demi-glace. It’s just as delicious.

Toro Toro

Book a table at Toro Toro at the InterContinental Miami and get in the holiday spirit with a Pan-Latin Thanksgiving dinner. Start with confit turkey empanadas with cornbread stuffing and Mezcal gravy, and move on to Chef Richard Sandoval’s twist on the main event: roasted turkey roulade with a creamy mashed potato purée, roasted heirloom carrots and turnips, cranberry gel and Mezcal gravy. Not a turkey fan? Get the Wagyu calotte de boeuf with tri-colored roasted potatoes, charred shallots, a plantain chip crumble and guajillo bordelaise. End the meal with apple mil hojas and chantilly vanilla ice cream, and thank us later.

Enjoy a Delicious Takeout Meal for Thanksgiving

Want something a little quieter or cozier than an upscale restaurant experience for Thanksgiving? Find a local restaurant to make a delicious meal you can enjoy at your hotel, rental condo – or even at a local park or beach. Find two ideas below.

Blue Collar

If you don’t want to cook, let Chef Danny Serfer, owner and chef at Blue Collar, do it for you. Attached to an unassuming hotel in MiMo District, this adored American comfort food restaurant is offering a full Thanksgiving dinner for takeout. Perfect for a crowd, it includes a whole brined, roasted and carved turkey, as well as gravy, caramelized Brussels sprouts, brioche stuffed with sausage, shrimp and grits with Neuske bacon and New Orleans “BBQ” sauce, charred sweet potatoes with brown butter and maple syrup, mashed Yukon gold potatoes, an apple pie and chocolate chip cookies. Make it extra special by adding caviar and three bottles of Pinot noir, which are available for an extra charge.

Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop

Pie is a Thanksgiving classic, and Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop bakes the best in Miami. This Thanksgiving, reserve one of its seasonal favorite pies – pumpkin, apple, pecan and salted caramel are all popular flavors – or opt for a pumpkin cheesecake or carrot cake.
